一、 Overview of the Wire Drawing Machine:
The wire drawing machine is a high-end wire drawing machine developed through the introduction, absorption and digestion of technologies. It is suitable for drawing various metal wire materials with a diameter of Ф14mm or smaller. It is applicable for drawing spring steel wires, rope steel wires, tire cord steel wires, bead steel wires, welding wires, gas protection welding wires, aluminum-covered steel wires, prestressed steel wires, rubber hose steel wires and various low, medium and high carbon steel wires of different grades, etc.
二、 Working Principle of the Wire Drawing Machine:
There is a small continuous production equipment composed of multiple drawing heads. Through successive drawing processes, the steel wire can be cold-drawn to the required specifications in one go, so the working efficiency is relatively high. However, since the wire diameter changes after each level of drawing, the working line speed of each drawing head should also change. Different, the drawing speeds of each drawing head configured according to the die also need to change. The drawing speed benchmark is that the volume of steel wire passing through the die at each moment remains unchanged, even if the following formula holds: πr2×v1 = πr2×v2, where r: the diameter of the incoming steel wire, v1: the line speed of the incoming steel wire, r: the diameter of the wire, v2: the line speed of the outgoing steel wire. The working speed of each drawing head of the drawing machine is based on the above formula to ensure that each drawing head runs synchronously. However, the above explanation is based on the steady-state working process under ideal conditions. Due to the errors in mechanical transmission and the gaps in mechanical transmission, during the dynamic working processes such as starting, acceleration, deceleration, and stopping, each drawing head cannot maintain synchronization. Therefore, most of the continuous drawing machines now have tension sensors to measure the tension of the steel wire between each drawing head, and then convert the tension into a standard signal. This standard signal is fed back to the speed regulation frequency converter, which uses this signal for closed-loop PID process control. The frequency converter uses this signal for closed-loop PID calculation to adjust the main speed and maintain the tension at each tension detection point constant, thus ensuring the continuous drawing.
三、 Components of the Wire Drawing Machine:
The wire drawing machine is composed of 1 unit of a separate wire drawing machine. Each machine is equipped with its own reducer, motor, belt drive, drawing pot, wire holder seat, etc.
2. The winding process is carried out using a double-disc winding mechanism, which is driven by a torque motor. The rotational speed and tension of the winding disc are controlled by a torque controller. The wire laying system employs a rack-type continuous wire laying method.
3. For the wire drawing machine, the wire is fed using a squirrel-cage type natural wire feeding frame.
4. The control system of the wire drawing machine equipment is controlled by 10 frequency converters, which are connected to single-action and linked potentiometers to regulate the rotational speed of each wire drawing machine.
5. The wire drawing machine's lubrication for wire drawing is provided by a dedicated circulating oil system.
四、 Structure of the Drawing Machine:
Wire Drawing Machine: After continuous wire drawing until the finished product is achieved, it enters the winding machine. After passing through the wire drawing die, the aluminum rod is wound onto the wire drawing pot, then passes through the lifting pulley, the passing pulley, and enters the lower stage wire drawing pot. After continuous wire drawing until the finished product is obtained, it enters the final process, that is, winding onto the tool disk, for use by wire twisting machines, etc.
Water tank drawing machine: The water tank drawing machine is a small continuous production equipment composed of multiple drawing heads. Through successive drawing and placing the drawing heads in the water tank, the steel wire is finally drawn to the required specification. Regarding the several major domestic manufacturers of water tank drawing machines, they generally have around 20 drawing heads. After each level of drawing, the diameter of the steel wire changes, so the working line speed of each drawing head should also change. During the entire drawing process, only one electric motor is driven through mechanical transmission or a gearbox. Depending on the different configuration of the drawing molds, the drawing speed of each drawing head also needs to change.
